CURRENT CARE OPTIONS
In my current season, I will be unable to take on any new doula clients. As of July 24, 2024, I will be pausing my doula work as it pertains to attending births. However, I will still meet with clients and talk about the birth world and options available. I will still do birth education sessions, as well (schedule permitting).
"Why Hire a Doula" Session
Prenatal Dialogue
Childbirth Education Sessions
Postpartum Meet Ups
Please message me and we can discuss your options!
Notes:
*I do not offer just attending the birth without the prenatal visits because I don’t feel that I can fully support you without the prenatal visits to get a good sense of who you are and what your desired outcomes are for your experience. If you are unable to pay for the services listed above, reach out to me and we can talk about payment plans and your budget.
**A travel fee will be applied for clients more than a 30-minute drive outside of Wichita, KS (03/27/2023).
From Previous Clients...
"To start off, I knew Allison was the doula for me from our first time meeting each other. Her aura was so peaceful, calm and comforting. She was well educated, informed on all birthing questions I had and was a huge comfort. From the meetings with her during my pregnancy, to her being there through labor, birth, and even after, she’s heaven sent. My husband and I both felt connected with her, and she made sure she valued our birth plan.
When I went into preterm labor, she was by my side until I was able to get a family member in the room with me.
Every time we met; it was always a relaxing feeling.
I woke up at 3 in the morning the day of giving birth to my daughter with what I didn’t know was contractions until I started timing them. I texted her and she responded back with a quickness letting me know that I was in fact in labor. We still had the kids that needed to be taken to daycare, so my husband stayed back to take them, and she drove to me and drove us to the hospital. She made sure that I was doing the correct breathing techniques and made sure to let me know that I was doing a good job. It took an hour of me being monitored before I was taken to the actual room where I would be giving birth. By that time my husband had arrived. She was my advocate and a huge help in the delivery room. I truly believe if I didn’t have her there, I wouldn’t have gone to 9 cm with no epidural. I felt strengthened and empowered. I definitely consider her family and I’m glad I was blessed to have her as my doula."
